Joehey currently practices as a telephone triage nurse in the Twin Cities and has nursing experience on a cardiac telemetry and progressive care unit. Prior to nursing, she earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and managed a college biology lab. She was the Outstanding Nursing Student in both programs at Anoka-Ramsey Community College and Metropolitan State University.
Joehey fell in love with the supportive family she found in MinnHNA while attending an American Holistic Nurses Association’s annual convention as a nursing student. She was eager to help others find this community and feel empowered to learn about and embrace holistic health care. She envisions MinnHNA as a leading force in determining the direction of our future health care systems.
Joehey enjoys traveling; watching and making movies; crafty art projects; board games, learning Spanish; and spending time with her family and puppy.
