RN, MHA • she / her / hers
Rachel practiced in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant for a majority of her 15 years of nursing. For the last few years, she has worked with healthcare organizations to create clinical strategies for success in value-based care and population health.
Nurses work in a demanding and fast-paced environment that is always asking for more without providing additional support. Many nurses must determine how to prevent burn out themselves. A holistic approach to self-care is required to fill the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of one’s being. MinnHNA is able to help provide knowledge of integrative healthcare practices that can be included into one’s toolkit.
Rachel also hopes that MinnHNA will offer opportunities to educate on topics and new skills that our members can apply to their own lives and in practice. Growing and diversifying our membership and offerings are her goals for MinnHNA.
