]Dr. Paul Ratté, a naturopathic doctor, and an associate professor at Northwestern Health Sciences University, will discuss how Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is becoming increasingly common in the United States. This progressive condition is linked to obesity, diabetes, autoimmune disorders, and cardiovascular diseases. The production, transport, reabsorption, and elimination of bile play a significant role in the physiology associated with this epidemic.
